QCESO is a more local way for engineering students and societies to connect. The confederation aims at bringing engineering faculties and schools in Québec together to share ideas in a similar fashion to CFES. One of its main goals is to protect and defend the interests of its members, as well as promoting their accomplishments and career developments. QCESO also has the mandate to organise activities, competitions, games, conferences and congresses aiming at spreading the values of science, academia, sports, socialization and culture. In general, QCESO focuses on the respect for shared values and the role of ethics and competence in engineering.

The EUS sends several students each year to get a grasp on the happenings of other universities in Québec and to share ideas with other engineering students.
